Job description

The machine learning video processing engineer will work within a dynamic team at Apple, focusing on developing advanced image and video processing technologies. This role requires a self-motivated engineer with a strong background in machine learning and video processing. The engineer will collaborate with other Apple engineers to create innovative solutions for current and future products. A passion for video processing and compression technologies is essential for success in this position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
  • Solid background in Machine Learning and Signal/Image/Video Processing.
  • Excellent programming skills in Python or C/C++.
  • Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related major.
  • Publication record in top tier conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ICIP, or SIGGRAPH.
  • Experience deploying neural networks to hardware.
  • Experience with GPGPU APIs, preferably Metal or CUDA.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
