The Apple Advanced Technologies Group is seeking a motivated electrical engineer to design next-generation touch sensors. This role focuses on enabling world-class user experiences through the integration of high-precision, low-latency multi-touch and stylus sensors. The team tackles complex multi-disciplinary challenges in areas such as circuit analysis, electro-magnetics, and algorithm development. The engineer will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative sensor module solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong analog, mixed-signal, and electro-magnetic fundamentals.
- Ph.D. or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid teamwork and leadership skills.
- Hands-on experience with system-level design.
- Proficiency in FEA tools such as Comsol, ANSYS, or Maxwell, as well as MATLAB, Python, SPICE, or similar simulation and modeling tools.
Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of touch sensors.
- Build models to understand key tradeoffs in sensor design.
