Job description

This role is part of the Wireless Hardware group, focusing on ensuring that cutting-edge wireless and PHY systems meet rigorous performance standards. The team is responsible for driving test automation and validation methodologies that enhance product development while maintaining high quality. You will have the opportunity to create test infrastructure and automation solutions that significantly impact next-generation wireless technologies. The position requires a passion for tackling big challenges and pushing the limits of wireless connectivity.

Requirements

  • Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
  • Knowledge of wireless communication systems.
  • Programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, C++, or C#.
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
  • Deep understanding of key performance indicators and impairments in RF and baseband domains.
  • Hands-on experience testing wireless silicon in laboratory environments.
  • Proficiency with RF test equipment including signal analyzers, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Proven experience developing test automation, including equipment drivers, debug tools, automation scripts, and interfaces.
  • Experience with automation infrastructure development and related tools such as Git, CI/CD, databases, and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure wireless and PHY systems meet performance standards across critical parameters.
  • Drive test automation and validation methodologies to accelerate product development.
  • Create test infrastructure and automation solutions for next-generation wireless technologies.
  • Test wireless silicon in laboratory environments using RF test equipment.
