Job description
The role is for a senior software engineer on a team of computer vision and machine learning engineers at Apple. The team focuses on building real-time 3D perception and input systems for future products. The engineer will work closely with researchers and engineers to develop advanced perception and tracking software. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Strong C++ skills, including modern C++
- Experience breaking down large problems and delivering robust solutions
- Curiosity about new technologies and flexibility to work across different layers of the software stack
- Experience with iOS or visionOS development, including Swift and Apple tooling
- Proven track record of shipping products or contributing to open-source projects
- Experience deploying algorithms to GPUs or other hardware accelerators
- Strong engineering rigor, communication, and collaboration skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and ship core 3D perception and input technologies
- Develop world-class perception, spatial input, and 3D tracking software
- Integrate and maintain complex real-time systems within a large production software stack
- Collaborate with CVML researchers and engineers to enhance product offerings
- Shape upcoming products that will delight and inspire users
