Job description
This role is part of the Wireless Hardware group, focusing on delivering innovative wireless connectivity solutions. The Wireless Systems Design Validation Team ensures that advanced wireless and PHY systems meet design specifications and perform optimally. This position involves working with industry-leading engineers to tackle complex technical challenges in wireless communication. The goal is to enhance the quality and reliability of next-generation wireless technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
- Strong knowledge of wireless communication systems and IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
- Strong programming skills in Python, Shell scripting, Perl, JavaScript, and/or C#.
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
- Hands-on experience testing and validating WiFi systems in laboratory environments.
- Proven experience developing and automating tests for wireless systems.
- Proficiency with RF test equipment, including signal analyzers and spectrum analyzers.
- Familiarity with network analysis and debugging tools such as protocol analyzers and Wireshark.
- Experience in configuring and controlling access points (APs) is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure advanced wireless and PHY systems meet stringent design specifications.
- Deliver optimal performance across critical functionalities like Throughput and MIMO.
- Work collaboratively with engineers to solve complex technical challenges.
- Test and validate WiFi systems in laboratory environments.
- Develop and automate tests for wireless systems to create robust test frameworks.
