  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience
  • Solid understanding of SoC/PMU design and micro-architecture
  • Hands-on experience in silicon bring-up or post-silicon validation
  • Experience with high-speed memory systems and digital communication interfaces
  • Familiarity with interpreting and navigating complex schematics and PCB layouts
  • Working knowledge of hardware/software co-debug methodologies on multi-processor embedded systems
  • Hands-on hardware debugging expertise with modern lab equipment
  • Good understanding of modern operating systems, firmware, and device drivers
  • Experience with volume stress testing, reliability screening, or production-level validation of wireless or cellular modem chipsets

Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and debug system-level test plans for new silicon in next generation Apple products.
  • Work multi-functionally with external vendors to identify root cause silicon design issues.
  • Collaborate with external chipset vendors to develop integration and verification plans.
  • Characterize performance and power of new digital interfaces and protocols.
  • Present technical findings and drive hardware issues to closure in a cross-functional team environment.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage.
