Job description

The App Store Internal Tools team is seeking an innovative Program Manager to enhance the tools used by producers, editors, app reviewers, and support teams. This role involves working on systems that impact hundreds of millions of users while maintaining close contact with day-to-day tool users. The Program Manager will facilitate the development of new workflows and improvements to production tools within the App Store. This position is critical for improving how App Store features are reviewed, built, and executed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical program and/or project management experience involving complex server/client architecture.
  • A track record of building products by driving collaboration across product, design, engineering, QA, Ops, and other key stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Computing Discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Excellent organization skills with acute attention to detail.
  • Strong facilitation skills in requirements gathering and cross-functional stakeholder meetings.
  • Experience interacting with or using task management and workflow systems is a major plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of multiple concurrent projects and features including scope, requirements, timelines, and resource allocation tracking.
  • Define business, functional, and reporting requirements, often writing them yourself.
  • Manage stakeholder communications and conduct risk assessments.
  • Drive multiple tasks to completion with minimal oversight, showing strong self-motivation and accountability.
  • Adapt to a highly demanding, team-oriented, and fast-paced environment with rapidly changing direction and new challenges.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
