Job description
As a quality engineer, you will lead the effort to ensure the quality of software products through automation and engineering excellence. You will be part of the Quality Engineering team within the GSE Engineering Operations group, focusing on maintaining the quality of complex enterprise applications. Your role will involve planning and executing comprehensive testing strategies while collaborating closely with development teams. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background and a passion for quality engineering.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience in Quality Engineering, including at least one year in software development.
- Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with automation frameworks such as Karate, Playwright, or Selenium.
- Experience in running load and performance testing to assess software quality under various stress conditions.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically.
- Maximize test coverage for the most critical features of the system.
- Determine the priority for test scenarios and create execution plans to implement these scenarios.
- Write documentation for automated processes, including test plans, test procedures, and test cases.
- Enhance current test cases and perform engineering quality assurance testing.
