The Emerging Technologies team at Apple is seeking a talented software engineer to design and develop scalable applications. • 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Skilled in cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP.
• Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of applied Machine Learning and deep Learning, including LLMs and NLP.
• Expertise in tuning, profiling, and optimizing applications in polyglot settings.
• Knowledge in Relational and NoSQL Databases.

• Lead the design and architecture of scalable, distributed systems.
• Design and build novel software solutions utilizing applied machine learning.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Monitor deployed solutions for performance, drift, and service level objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and business partners across Apple.
