The Emerging Technologies team at Apple is seeking a talented software engineer to design and develop scalable applications. This role involves hands-on coding and building distributed services while utilizing applied machine learning and generative AI algorithms. Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in Software Engineering, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Skilled in cloud technologies such as AWS or GCP.
- Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of applied Machine Learning and deep Learning, including LLMs and NLP.
- Expertise in tuning, profiling, and optimizing applications in polyglot settings.
- Knowledge in Relational and NoSQL Databases.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, distributed systems.
- Design and build novel software solutions utilizing applied machine learning.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Monitor deployed solutions for performance, drift, and service level objectives.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and business partners across Apple.
