Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing and process control
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering such as Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering
- Working knowledge of mechanical quality and reliability concepts
- Experience with the development and evaluation of measurement systems
- Project management experience and understanding of problem-solving tools
Responsibilities
- Partner with tooling and functional teams to evaluate design and processes at the concept phase
- Develop measurement technologies and manufacturing methods that meet ambitious specifications
- Implement quality inspection tools to evaluate part characteristics
- Compile and evaluate data to determine limits for process and part specifications
- Lead activities to balance quality with scalable yields
- Collaborate with teams to ensure proper definition of quality expectations
- Coordinate and prioritize Quality Engineering functions for multiple programs
- Establish audit procedures to ensure alignment with Apple quality standards
- Evaluate and communicate yields of new and existing processes
- Drive corrective actions with internal and external team members
