The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer at Apple is responsible for designing precision assembly and measurement processes for Apple products. • 5+ years of strong work experience in precision assembly, inspection, and automation equipment.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field.
• Master's degree in an Engineering field.
• Knowledgeable in crafting machine qualification requirements, design of experiments, and failure analysis.
• Understands build tolerance analysis for parts and assemblies.
• Understands machine qualification including calibration, correlation, capability, repeatability, and reproducibility.
• Able to communicate effectively in a worldwide environment.
• New product introduction and Manufacturing Operations experience.
• Proven track record of cost reduction, project management, and engineering design.
• Working knowledge of GD&T principles is favorable.
• Experience with NX, SolidWorks CAD, or ProE.
• Working knowledge of laser welding, robotics, pneumatics, motion controllers, or PLC and PC-based control systems.
• Experience with JMP, Minitab, and Six Sigma.
