Job description

The role involves being part of the Foundation Modeling Data EPM group at Apple, focusing on leveraging data to enhance products for millions of users. The program manager will collaborate with various teams, including data engineering and product teams, to ensure effective project management and alignment across initiatives. Requirements

  • 4+ years of project management, engineering management, or QA/QC engineering experience in software development.
  • Experience in technical program management or engineering ownership of data collection and pipelines.
  • Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and presenting data to support decision-making.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in delivering data platforms or processes that enhance customer experience.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for all organizational levels.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Self-motivated and proactive with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Agile and SDLC development processes.
  • Strong leadership skills, including team-building and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage project schedules with clear dependencies and a defined critical path.
  • Drive alignment across the organization and manage risks while remaining agile.
  • Identify issues and solutions early, coordinating with cross-functional teams.
  • Provide regular program status updates and escalate critical issues to the executive team.
  • Break down complex issues into manageable discussion topics to drive alignment.
  • Ensure on-time delivery and deployment by identifying development needs.
  • Continuously reflect on team operations and propose improvements to enhance delivery.
