The role involves working with high-availability networking, data center infrastructure, and Security Operations Centers on a 24x7x365 basis. • 5+ years configuring TCP/IP networks for host devices
• Excellent layer 1 through 3 troubleshooting skills
• Experience with packet analysis using tools like tcpdump and Wireshark
• Thorough understanding of VLANs, STP, VTP, and basic layer 3 routing
• Ability to diagnose host-based issues using tools like nmap
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Cisco CCNA certification
• Experience with hardware load balancing
• Experience with network automation using ZTP and Python
• Experience with IOS, IOS-XE, and NX-OS devices
• Experience monitoring and managing OpManager, Splunk, and Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)
