Job description
The Display Engineer role at Apple focuses on the development of displays for iPhone products, collaborating with various teams to manage the entire process from concept to production. The engineer will also serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers and will be responsible for ensuring display performance meets specifications. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
- Technical experience in optical design and characterization, display technologies, and circuits.
- Experience with programming languages for data acquisition such as Python or LabVIEW.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis tools like JMP or MATLAB.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with system design, electrical engineering, and mechanical teams to deliver display solutions.
- Lead internal teams in defining display module specifications for new iPhone projects.
- Perform hands-on characterization of electro-optical performance and analyze data.
- Manage relationships with suppliers and oversee failure analysis processes.
- Ensure display goals are met for engineering builds and initial mass production.
