Job description

In this role, you will collaborate with both third-party developers and core engineering teams to enhance the development of visionOS experiences for Apple Vision Pro. Your focus will be on understanding developer needs, resolving technical blockers, and supporting app creation for this revolutionary spatial computing platform. You will also work closely with internal engineering teams to refine Apple's APIs based on real-world developer feedback. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of spatial computing while fostering collaborative relationships.

Requirements

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
  • At least 5-10 years of relevant industry experience
  • Excellent coding skills in Swift or Objective-C
  • Experience with UIKit, AppKit, or SwiftUI
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Existing visionOS development experience
  • Experience working with 3D content and content creation tools like Reality Composer Pro, Blender, or Maya
  • Understanding of API design and implementation

Responsibilities

  • Work with third-party developers to enable the development of visionOS experiences
  • Identify and resolve technical blockers for developers building for Apple Vision Pro
  • Support the creation of apps for Apple Vision Pro
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams to shape Apple's APIs
  • Translate technical information for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Take ownership of problem spaces and be a go-to expert for your areas of support
