Job description

The firmware engineer will contribute to the development of Apple's next Wi-Fi products by designing, developing, and testing firmware code. This role involves collaboration with hardware and systems engineers to define requirements and integrate features. The candidate will also engage in technical discussions regarding wireless systems and contribute to the overall success of the team. A strong focus on communication and collaboration is essential to drive multiple projects across teams.

Requirements

  • Fluency in C/C++ programming languages
  • Understanding of wireless communications and networking stack exposure
  • Knowledge of communication theory and ability to contribute to technical discussions
  • Proficiency in Git or other source management tools
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Master's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in firmware engineering
