The Full Stack Senior Software Engineer will be part of Marcom, Apple's global marketing team, focusing on the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. This role is essential for developing services that enhance asset syndication, distribution, and delivery pipelines. The engineer will work collaboratively with various teams to create a modern services stack that supports the management of digital assets. The position requires a deep understanding of both backend and frontend technologies to streamline content management workflows.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of professional software development experience designing and developing complex, highly available and scalable enterprise APIs using Java/J2EE technologies.
- 5+ years of experience designing and developing large scale enterprise APIs for Digital Asset Management systems.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience with a focus on fundamentals in data structures, algorithms and object-oriented design.
- Deep understanding of core web technologies including XML, HTML5, CSS, and client/server-side scripting languages such as JavaScript.
- Experience with multi-caching solutions for real-time content delivery.
- Experience in AWS/Cloud Technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of source version control software (Git).
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Maven, Docker, and configuration management systems such as Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with members of multiple teams to enable a modern services stack.
- Implement and evangelize solutions that streamline Marcom's content management workflow.
- Develop services built on top of existing and new DAM capabilities.
- Ensure the delivery of approved assets to multiple partners across Apple and beyond.
- Write unit tests and collaborate with quality engineering to develop test plans.
