The Senior iCloud Efficiency Engineer will focus on enhancing Apple's cloud services through Generative AI and agentic systems. This role involves providing technical leadership to streamline AI efforts across the organization, establishing reusable patterns, and defining production standards. The engineer will work closely with various teams to design and deploy AI-driven systems that improve operational efficiency. Success will be measured by the adoption of shared tools and measurable improvements in engineering workflows and infrastructure decision-making.

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, infrastructure engineering, or large-scale cloud services environments.
• Proven experience designing, building, or technically leading production GenAI, ML platform, developer productivity, infrastructure automation, or tooling systems.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI technologies and LLM application architecture.
• Demonstrated technical leadership across teams, including architecture reviews and mentoring.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure operations and operational safety principles.
• Strong software development skills in Python, Java, or similar languages.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
