In this lead role within the Softgoods Engineering team, you will leverage your design experience to define architectures and develop innovative Softgoods products. The team focuses on integrating textiles and soft polymers into Apple's product lines, enhancing functionality and aesthetics. You will work in customized labs alongside creative thinkers from diverse backgrounds. • BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 7+ years of product design experience with extensive CAD experience
• MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 12+ years of product design experience with NX software
• Previous experience in Softgoods and/or wearables product design
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Define Softgoods architectures and design innovative products
• Collaborate with a cohesive team to develop extraordinary Apple products
• Integrate electrical and mechanical components into Softgoods
• Present technical concepts to a multi-disciplinary team
