As a Senior Graphics Core Hardware Verification Engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in designing and manufacturing next-generation, high-performance system-on-chip (SoC) solutions. You will lead teams in delivering well-verified intellectual property (IP) while collaborating with architecture, design, and modeling teams to ensure design specifications are met. Your focus will be on developing verification plans and driving techniques to detect complex design bugs. • BS degree with 10+ years of relevant experience in hardware verification.
• Experience leading design verification teams.
• Cross-functional collaboration experience in architecture, micro-architecture, design, and software.
• Familiarity with GPU architecture and standards such as OpenGL/CL, Vulkan, and Metal.
• Experience with performance analysis and optimization techniques.
• Knowledge of power management techniques in GPUs.
• Familiarity with machine learning and AI processing in GPU architectures.
• Experience with Formal Verification techniques and tools such as JasperGold.

• Lead teams of engineers in delivering well-verified IP.
• Collaborate with architecture, design, and modeling teams to converge on design specifications.
• Develop and drive verification plans, schedules, and reviews.
• Architect test benches using advanced object-oriented programming, UVM, and vertical reuse techniques.
• Drive techniques to detect difficult design bugs such as cross-block deadlock and livelock.
• Provide technical mentorship to early career engineers on design verification methodology and conduct code reviews.
• Deploy Formal Verification techniques to complement simulation flows.
• Build automated verification flows such as machine learning-assisted coverage closure for graphics core verification.
• Collaborate with peer IP, software, and top design verification teams to ensure all validation aspects are accounted for.
