Requirements
- BS degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of industry experience in electrical engineering
- Experience designing analog and digital circuits
- Familiarity with systems that include sensitive analog/mixed-signal circuits, FPGAs, and embedded microcontrollers
- Experience with various schematic capture tools, such as Eagle, Altium, or Cadence
- Experience with circuit simulation tools, such as Hspice, LTspice, or Spectre
- Skilled with PCB layout on complex multi-layer boards
- Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams to balance design tradeoffs
- Experience with standard lab equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
- Exposure to various system modeling and simulation tools, such as ANSYS, Verilog A/MS, Simulink, and COMSOL
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical engineering initiatives by example and adapt to the unique needs of the program.
- Work with cross-functional engineering teams to define new prototype systems.
- Design electronics that implement new systems and validate their performance.
- Manage individuals and guide their work and growth as appropriate.
- Take systems through a full development cycle, including architecture, design, fabrication, bring-up, debugging, and characterization.
- Support factory builds and scale from hand-built prototypes to thousands of units.
