Job description

Apple is seeking a Security-focused Engineering Program Manager to oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of SoC security features. This role involves collaborating with Platform Architecture, SoC design, and Software teams to ensure that security features are well-defined and prioritized. The position emphasizes the importance of security and privacy as core design principles in product development. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in driving alignment across various teams.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 10 years of relevant experience.
  • 5+ years in SoC/Silicon/Cellular design, architecture, or silicon development.
  • Proven technical program management or cross-functional leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with SoC security architectures such as secure boot and cryptographic engines.
  • Demonstrated success in driving multi-functional alignment and influencing without authority.
  • Experience building and maintaining multi-generation technology roadmaps.
  • Awareness of the SoC development lifecycle from concept through mass production.
  • Strong documentation and organizational skills.
  • Experience presenting to and influencing senior management and executives.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle of SoC security features from early architecture discussions through silicon delivery.
  • Ensure security features are well-defined, prioritized, and roadmapped.
  • Act as the connective tissue between Platform Architecture, SoC design, and Software teams.
  • Drive alignment and influence across silicon and software organizations.
  • Translate complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
  • Follow through on action items with relentless focus.
