Job description

The AMS Design Engineer role at Apple involves working on cutting-edge technology nodes to create custom analog designs that connect Apple products to the physical world. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong device physics knowledge as it applies to analog IC design.
  • Experience in C/Matlab/VerilogA/Python modeling.
  • In-depth knowledge of mixed-signal design techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Work on transistor level IC design implementation for Apple Silicon.
  • Deliver silicon IPs with complete architecture, design, verification, and validation experience.
  • Utilize spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and signal generators to validate analog designs.
  • Collaborate with Digital Design and Physical Design teams for chip integration.
  • Produce test plans and design for testability details in conjunction with production test engineers.
