Job description
The North American Regulatory Compliance expert at Apple will drive wireless project certification from development to launch, focusing on compliance standards in the US and Canada. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (EE or Physics) and 5 years of equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of RF working experience with a main focus on compliance and standards.
- Knowledge of US Regulatory requirements and standards with experience in testing RF/EMC/EMI compliance.
- Good RF background across multiple wireless technologies like WIFI(6e), BT, and Cellular.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and documentation skills.
- Experience with standard RF test lab equipment including spectrum analyzer and signal generator.
- Good understanding of RF systems, schematics, and board layouts.
Responsibilities
- Drive various wireless project certification end to end, from development to launch.
- Ensure that products meet worldwide wireless compliance standards.
- Collaborate with Apple's international teams and regional organizations.
- Support policy and standardization efforts within the organization.
- Manage, organize, and drive deliverables of complex projects with tight timelines.
