The role involves working within the Battery Engineering group to develop innovative battery solutions that maximize energy efficiency in compact designs. As part of the Battery Pack Product Design team, you will focus on the mechanical design and integration of battery packs into Apple products. This position requires collaboration with various teams and external vendors to optimize designs and ensure successful implementation. You will lead the mechanical development from initial architecture through to production ramp.

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with 3D CAD software
• 3 years of relevant industry experience
• Master's degree or equivalent job-related experience in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Ability to generate innovative designs with multi-functional teams
• Experience in Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, or statistical tolerance analysis techniques
• Clear and concise communication skills for technical project status updates
• Demonstrated ability to deliver to product timelines
• Experience in the design cycle from concept through mass production with high-volume manufacturing processes

• Design battery packs while optimizing collaboration across teams and vendors
• Lead the end-to-end mechanical development and integration of innovative modules
• Create detailed written specifications, drawings, and tolerance analyses
• Validate designs to ensure they meet project requirements
