The Apple Field Design Engineering team is seeking a motivated individual to test unreleased Apple products, focusing on accuracy, understandability, and performance. This role involves evaluating the latest iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch hardware systems from early prototypes to final products. Candidates will work closely with HW/SW development teams to identify issues impacting cellular functionality and performance.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent major with 2-5 years relevant work experience
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end testing of cellular technologies including test plan preparation, field testing, log analysis, and debugging issues
• Working knowledge in at least one wireless technology such as 5G NR, LTE/LTE-A, or UMTS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, detail-oriented, and analytical
• Availability to travel for work up to 50% of the year without restrictions
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent major is preferred
• Deep understanding of cellular protocol stack from LTE PHY/MAC to higher layers
• Knowledge of Antenna/RF design
• Basic scripting experience in Shell, Perl, Python, or Matlab

• Evaluate the latest iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch hardware systems in the field from early prototype to final products
• Perform HW and SW cellular testing on Apple products
• Analyze internal logs to understand and identify root causes of issues
