The Engineering Program Manager for the Cloud Products and Platform team at Apple Services Engineering will play a crucial role in driving complex, cross-functional projects. This position requires a deep understanding of technology and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. The EPM will collaborate closely with engineering leaders and various teams to ensure successful program delivery. The focus will be on managing risks, aligning teams, and providing clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in product, program, or project management leading cross-functional software development.
- Strong analytical thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills to engineers, managers, and executives.
- Experience managing cross-organizational dependencies across multiple teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with multiple engineering leads and business teams to drive cross-functional programs through delivery.
- Manage risks, mitigations, and drive alignment across the organization and between teams.
- Provide clear, timely, and objective communication, including regular program status updates.
- Coordinate discussions and break down complex issues into discussion topics for engineering and design alignment.
- Proactively identify issues and solutions, and mobilize resources necessary to resolve them.
