The Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Apple will lead a team of skilled engineers focused on developing and implementing innovative manufacturing processes for next-generation Audio products. This role emphasizes driving manufacturing automation from concept to mass production while ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. The manager will bridge the gap between design and manufacturing, pushing the boundaries of advanced manufacturing capabilities. • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Robotics/Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
• Strong experience in equipment design, development, qualification, and deployment from NPI to mass production.
• Proven track record of successfully bringing new products from design conception to high-volume production.
• Strong understanding of various manufacturing processes, materials, and automation technologies.
• Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), SPC, metrology principles, and manufacturing process qualification.
• Experience in custom automation equipment mechanical design and/or programming.
• Master's degree or greater in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, NX) and simulation tools.
