As a member of the Satellite Connectivity Group at Apple, you will contribute to the development of satellite network services that provide connectivity to iPhone and Watch Ultra users in remote areas. This role requires a technically skilled computer science professional who can work independently within a small team. You will be responsible for shaping critical services that enhance communication for millions of Apple device users. The position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to navigate a rapidly changing environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specifically in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
  • At least 3 years of experience in software engineering.
  • Deep understanding of core computer science concepts including algorithms, data structures, operating systems, distributed systems, networking, and concurrent programming.

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, and Python.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-growing team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • DevOps experience is a plus.
  • Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively with other cross-functional teams.
  • Shape and define software solutions for critical services.
  • Adapt to and manage ambiguity in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Contribute technical expertise to enhance software development.

Benefits

  • Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage. Employees also see robust time off, Apple University learning and tuition reimbursement, donation matching and paid volunteer hours, and deep product and partner discounts.
