Requirements
- BS in Electrical Engineering or related field plus 20 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in digital and mixed-signal integrated circuit design and design automation tools.
- Hands-on experience with SOC implementation skills, including front end and back end digital tool suites.
- Deep knowledge of EDA tools and approaches for managing design complexity and large technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in digital, mixed-signal, analog, or memory integrated circuit design and engineering leadership.
- Strong communication and program management skills.
Responsibilities
- Drive and lead technical engagements between Apple and silicon and IP suppliers.
- Oversee all phases of silicon development, including micro-architecture specification and validation.
- Manage pre-silicon activities such as simulation, emulation, and verification.
- Lead post-silicon activities including bring-up, validation, characterization, and qualification.
- Direct multi-functional debug efforts and manage crisis situations effectively.
