JobsSoC Silicon Reliability Engineer
Job description
This role involves working within Apple's Silicon Technologies group to ensure the reliability of SoC and Application Processor products. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams and subcontractors to introduce new products while focusing on manufacturability. The position emphasizes driving product, process, and package qualification tests, as well as implementing quality improvement processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SoC reliability engineering and hands-on testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- Experience with SoC reliability engineering
- Familiarity with JEDEC quality standards and ISO
- Knowledge of reliability fail modes of silicon and packaging technologies
- Experience with reliability hardware and stress pattern setups
Responsibilities
- Drive SoC and Application Processor product, process, and package qualification and reliability tests.
- Conduct failure analysis during product or package qualification.
- Implement ongoing quality improvement processes in collaboration with suppliers.
- Set up HTOL testing and ESD and Latch-Up tests.
- Drive foundries to address product reliability issues.
