Job description
Apple is seeking a Display/Process/Quality Engineer to lead engineering and manufacturing activities for next-generation display technologies. The role is part of the Display Quality Team, which focuses on delivering high-quality products for Apple's award-winning displays. The engineer will be responsible for process and quality improvements from engineering builds to product ramp. This position requires a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence in display technology.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with in-depth technical knowledge in Display/Sensor technologies such as TFT, LCD, AMOLED, touch sensor, and OLED.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant engineering field.
- Proven ability to drive vendor quality improvements and familiarity with quality control and monitoring systems.
- Capability to execute Design of Experiments (DOE), Statistical Process Control (SPC), failure analysis, and yield improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering and manufacturing activities for next-generation display technologies.
- Serve as a focal point for process and quality improvement of new display panels.
- Ensure high-quality product delivery for Apple's display products.
- Collaborate with vendors to drive quality improvements.
- Execute and analyze DOE, SPC, and failure analysis to enhance yield.
