Job description
As a Senior Data Engineering Manager for the Expert Platform at Apple, you will lead a team focused on building the data foundation for next-generation decision support systems. You will work alongside engineers, data scientists, and business leaders to create AI-native data architectures that transform vast amounts of data into actionable insights. Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture roles.
- 5+ years of experience managing engineering teams at scale.
- Proven experience building large-scale distributed data systems in a production environment.
- Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, and ML data pipelines.
- Strong fluency in SQL, Python, and cloud data ecosystems such as GCP or AWS.
- Familiarity with AI/ML feature engineering, experiment tracking, and data versioning.
- BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Experience within a consumer tech, retail, or channel organization.
