The Security Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) role at Apple focuses on ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of critical systems and infrastructure. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, an engineering-related field, or equivalent related experience.
• 10+ years in a Site Reliability Engineering infrastructure focused role.
• Significant experience in at least one programming language such as Python, Golang, Java, Rust, C#, or C++.
• Deep knowledge of Linux security primitives, systems, packaging, container security, and SELinux.
• Strong understanding of operating systems concepts including multi-threading, memory management, networking, and storage.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security measures.
• Define and advocate for a common set of minimum security requirements.
• Measure progress in security standards adoption and iterate on engineering team challenges.
• Enhance the overall security posture of the organization through automation tools.
• Ensure the security and reliability of large scale, highly available, distributed systems.
