Job description

In this role, you will be part of the Sensing & Connectivity team, focusing on using on-device sensors and wireless technologies to enhance user experiences. You will collaborate with experts in CoreMotion, CoreLocation, Maps, and AIML to tackle complex challenges. The position involves engaging in investigative projects to prototype solutions for open-ended problems. A strong foundation in software engineering and an interest in sustainability metrics are essential.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Objective-C, Swift, or similar embedded programming language.
  • Solid software engineering fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • Experience with inter-process communication and systems development.
  • Understanding of patterns and constraints for large language model prompting.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a solid foundation in mathematics and physics.
  • Interest in climate science, environmental impact reduction, or sustainability metrics.
  • A proven track record of shipping applications or delivering code to production.
