Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Biophysics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Thorough understanding and experience in optical instruments design, modeling, and performance quantification.
  • Proficiency in one or more optical modeling tools for imaging optics or physical optics.
  • Strong analytical model building and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop optical instruments for metrology systems.
  • Calibrate and test optical display modules across multiple product lines.
  • Communicate effectively across a range of technical subject areas with management, peers, and suppliers.
  • Support innovation, IP, and patent creation within the team.
  • Contribute to the new product introduction (NPI) stage of optical instruments.
