Job description
The Quality Engineer role at Apple focuses on ensuring high quality and reliability in products and technologies. Requirements
- BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in a technical domain, high volume manufacturing, or development of consumer electronics or components
- MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials Science or Industrial Engineering or equivalent
- Strong statistical and data analytics skills, including statistical process control and sampling methods
Responsibilities
- Drive quality improvement actions on future products
- Enable mass production capable manufacturing processes
- Develop plans to validate and verify new product quality at each development landmark
- Approach problems using engineering methods and make data-driven decisions
- Bring up capable suppliers that can execute at a high level on an ongoing basis
