Job description
As a member of the Mixed-Signal design team at Apple, you will focus on building and supporting innovative design methodologies for sophisticated Mixed-Signal IP designs. This role involves collaboration with various design teams, CAD teams, and EDA vendors to enhance design processes. You will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies and driving improvement efforts while prototyping solutions to meet design needs. Strong interpersonal skills are essential as you will work closely with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Understanding of SPICE simulation and Cadence ADE environment
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Perl, Python, SKILL, TCL/TK, and Unix Shell
- Experience in Circuit Check and STA/NanoTime analysis is a plus
- Experience in flow development and automation in a rapid design environment
- Exposure to Cadence Virtuoso Framework, Schematic Editor and Layout tools, VXL, and CDFs is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Build and support innovative design methodology for Mixed-Signal IP designs
- Collaborate with mixed-signal design teams, CAD teams, and EDA vendors
- Identify inefficiencies in the mixed-signal design process and drive improvement efforts
- Prototype and develop innovative solutions to address design teams' needs
- Work closely with the CAD team to debug issues and enhance existing flows
- Test, deploy, and support new and existing tools and flows
- Provide documentation and training to design teams
