• Strong background in optical design with foundational knowledge in optical and electrical engineering
• Hands-on experience with optical lab equipment such as light sources, microscopes, and spectrometers
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Python and MATLAB for model development and data collection
• BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience
• Experience with optical simulation tools such as LightTools, Lumerical, and COMSOL
• Experience supporting volume manufacturing, including test design and failure analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong teamwork abilities and self-motivation to tackle technical challenges
• Degree in Optics, Physics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
