The Product Systems Quality Watch & Home Hardware Automation team is seeking a motivated engineer to tackle complex engineering challenges. This role involves developing automated testing fixtures and robotics solutions to ensure high-quality standards for new products. The engineer will collaborate with a diverse group of professionals across various organizations at Apple. The focus is on integrating mechanical, electrical, and software components to enhance the performance and quality of consumer electronics.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in creating and using robotics and/or mechatronic systems
• Expertise in Python programming
• Experience with applied mathematics such as linear algebra and kinematics
• Experience debugging and troubleshooting complex mechatronic and software systems
• Experience in CADing/designing mechanical fixtures for robotic applications
• Experience with computer vision and/or AI/ML applications
• Demonstrated ability to work in teams and collaborate
• Master's or PhD in a related field is preferred
• Experience designing and working with electronic circuits
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and practices
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
• Experience using and/or creating AI tools for development or robotic applications
