Job description
The Machine Learning Video Processing Engineer will join Apple's Video Engineering team, which is responsible for developing core image and video technologies used across Apple products. This role focuses on building next-generation video processing algorithms and requires a highly self-motivated individual. The engineer will identify and develop machine learning solutions while collaborating with a dynamic team to optimize and productize features. This position offers the opportunity to impact a billion users with innovative technologies.
Requirements
- Minimum requirement of a bachelor's degree.
- Master's degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Knowledge of the principles, algorithms, and techniques used in machine learning and video processing.
- Programming skills and hands-on experience with Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- PhD or Master's degree in Machine Learning, Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related fields.
- Knowledge of low-level vision algorithms such as spatial and temporal image/video scaling and noise reduction.
- Background in digital signal and image processing.
- Publication record in top-tier conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, SIGGRAPH, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR.
- Excellent independent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
