Job description
The Retail Technology, Demo Production Engineering team at Apple is focused on creating innovative demo experiences for Apple Stores worldwide. This role involves working with a dynamic team of engineers to prototype, validate, and deploy solutions that enhance both employee and customer experiences. The position requires a strong background in macOS systems and automation engineering, as well as collaboration across various teams. Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on macOS systems or platform engineering experience.
- Strong automation engineering skills in Python and/or Swift.
- Experience managing large libraries of software configurations or build workflows.
- Expert knowledge of UNIX/LINUX environments and setup tools.
- Experience with Mobile Device Management frameworks, preferably JAMF.
- Experience with QA and developing integrated testing strategies.
Responsibilities
- Prototype, master, validate, and deploy innovative demo experiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineers, analysts, and program managers.
- Manage and maintain frameworks that replace manual workflows.
- Ensure seamless device provisioning, configuration, and system interoperability.
- Work to precise release deadlines tied to Apple's product and software calendars.
