Job description

The Engineering Project Manager (EPM) will support the Watch Product Design organization by managing technical projects and assisting engineering development. The successful candidate will leverage their mechanical engineering background to organize day-to-day activities and ensure alignment with program objectives. This role emphasizes system-level mechanical engineering design and involves managing development planning and validation cycles. The EPM will work closely with various teams to facilitate effective communication and project execution.

Requirements

  • Engineering degree or equivalent required; BSME preferred
  • 2+ years prior product development experience in project management or mechanical engineering design
  • Detailed knowledge of product development process and cycles
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and manufacturing processes
  • Experience interfacing with mechanical engineering/design, operations, and vendors
  • Experience setting up project schedules and work breakdown structures
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organizational and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, oriented toward teamwork
  • Self-motivated and proactive, demonstrating creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Ability to travel internationally to support builds

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical project timelines and deliverables for the Watch PD teams
  • Assist in the development planning and validation cycles for mechanical engineering design
