The Packaging PD team at Apple is responsible for designing and executing structural packaging for all Apple products, ensuring an outstanding customer experience while promoting sustainability. This diverse group collaborates with various teams, including Industrial Design and Marketing, to innovate packaging solutions. Requirements
- 3 years of related industry experience
- BS degree with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering or Packaging Science
- Experience working with 3D and 2D CAD
- Strong engineering fundamentals
- Ability to travel up to 20% to support engineering build activities
- Innovative thinking and high personal motivation
- Flexibility and comfort working in a quickly changing environment
- Effective verbal and written presentation skills
- Prototyping experience
- Data-driven design approach to complex problems
- Experience with design cycle from concept to manufacturing in mass-production
- Knowledge of material science and FEA
- Knowledge of fiber-based materials
