The AVKit Engineering team at Apple is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and build media playback UI across various Apple products. • 5+ years of programming experience, preferably in Objective-C and Swift
• Deep knowledge of Operating System design and concepts
• Proficiency in developing with Cocoa or other application frameworks
• BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Expertise in triaging and resolving complex bugs
• Excellent understanding of optimization and performance issues across OS software layers

• Design and implement new features and UI APIs for media playback
• Collaborate closely with other engineering and design teams to implement system media UIs
• Help build innovative media playback experiences across Apple products
