The Core Technologies New Product Introduction Operations Program Manager (NPI OPM) at Apple is responsible for launching products on time with high quality and maximum customer availability. This role involves leading key subsystems across various platforms, including iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, and iPad. The NPI OPM will collaborate with design engineering, process, quality, and procurement teams, as well as external suppliers, to ensure successful product development and operations. Strong leadership, communication, and program management skills are essential for thriving in this dynamic environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, supply chain, or product development.
- BS or MS degree in Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Consumer electronics background is a plus.
- Experience with AI/ML, Machine Learning, LLM, robotic process automation, or quantum computing is preferred.
- MBA is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the Core Technologies operations readiness and successful bring up of critical components for iPhone, iPad, Watch, Mac products, and other new products.
- Collaborate with design engineering, process, quality, and procurement teams and external suppliers.
- Lead program readiness reviews that include overall program status of design/technical development and operations.
- Drive closure on design/technical and operations issues.
- Influence product manufacturability, testability, and supply chain responsiveness.
- Lead operations development builds on-site at suppliers and ensure successful mass production ramp up.
- Present in weekly meetings with large multi-functional teams and executives.
