This position focuses on modeling and integrating high-performance mixed-signal and analog IPs into high-speed digital circuits. The engineer will gain valuable experience in software methods and analysis, which are essential in the semiconductor industry. The role also includes specifying, designing, verifying, and supporting lab bring-up of sophisticated digital and mixed-signal circuits.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Expertise in front-end tools such as Verilog simulators and linters
- Experience with synthesis, static timing analysis, and design-for-test (DFT)
- Knowledge of SystemVerilog assertions and advanced verification techniques
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Perl and Python
- Familiarity with formal verification and low-power design methodologies
- Experience in hardware-software co-design and system-level optimization
- Hands-on experience with DSP and signal processing concepts
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in GenAI for SystemVerilog design
Responsibilities
- Specify and micro-architect digital and signal processing blocks in mixed-signal circuits
- Perform RTL coding of blocks specified by yourself or others, including DSP algorithm implementation
- Participate in design verification and bring-up by writing assertions and debugging code
- Interact with the design verification team to ensure quality and performance
- Contribute to lab bring-up by writing test scripts and analyzing lab data
- Propose experiments and validate signal processing performance
Benefits
- Employees at Apple are often offered comprehensive benefits that support physical and mental well-being—flexible medical plans, confidential counseling, onsite wellness centers at major campuses, and resources for fitness and daily life. Families typically receive fertility support, paid parental leave with gradual return, caregiving leave, and dependent-care guidance, while financial perks commonly include stock grants (with purchase discounts), 401(k) matching, and income-protection coverage.
