The Apple Cloud Networking team is seeking a Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead a diverse group of engineers focused on enhancing Apple's network services. This role involves collaborating with various engineering teams to deliver foundational infrastructure for global services. The manager will define and drive the vision for Network Platform solutions while ensuring high standards of reliability and security. The ideal candidate will have a passion for building scalable systems and a strong background in network infrastructure.

• A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in software development.
• At least 4 years of experience in a technical leadership position, including responsibilities for people management.
• Demonstrated technical expertise with the ability to engage in deep technical discussions.
• Proven track record in designing and building highly scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Solid experience with network infrastructure and software-defined networking (SDN).
• Broad experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and micro-services architectures.
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols and routing mechanisms.
• Comprehensive understanding of networking solutions spanning OSI layers 3 through 7.
