Job description
The Solution Architect role at Apple focuses on leading the design and implementation of innovative Generative AI solutions. The Support Engineering GenAI Solutions team is dedicated to developing conversational AI systems that address complex business challenges. This position requires a visionary individual who can bridge business strategy with technical execution while fostering collaboration across teams. The architect will be responsible for ensuring data security and guiding engineering teams from proof-of-concept to production.
Requirements
- 9+ years of total experience in software engineering, data engineering, or solution architecture.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying GenAI solutions or Agentic AI solutions using RAG in production.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Rust and modern AI SDKs.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as strong organizational skills.
- Ability to juggle and complete multiple tasks.
- Excellent leadership and influencing skills.
- Proficient at managing multiple global efforts simultaneously.
- Self-motivated and pro-active with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architectural development of innovative Generative AI solutions.
- Bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution.
- Architect scalable GenAI applications using LLMs, RAG, and Agents.
- Ensure data security in the design and implementation of AI solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional team members and business stakeholders during the full lifecycle development process.
- Serve as the Customer System GenAI domain champion.
- Guide engineering teams from proof-of-concept to production.
