Job description
In this role, you will be part of the Silicon Technologies group, focusing on product characterization and the correlation between ATE and various logic boards. You will study the impact of hardware on SoC performance and collaborate with design, process, and test engineers. The team is dedicated to crafting innovative solutions for Apple's next-generation devices. Your work will contribute to the technology that powers Apple's products and enhances user experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 3 years of experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Semiconductor Manufacturing Process.
- Proven understanding of Electronic Engineering Fundamentals and DFT concepts.
- Experience in system level/mother board characterization and data collection.
- Expertise in programming with scripting languages such as PERL and Python.
- Knowledge of test equipment including oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
- Experience in board bring up, hardware design, and PDN noise analysis is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work with internal team members and external suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Perform data analysis, characterization, and fault isolation to resolve root causes of issues.
- Perform correlation between ATE and different hardware setups.
- Partner with design, process, and test engineers to identify and implement corrective actions on both new and mature products and technologies.
- Define and finalize production screening guard-band specifications based on design intent and characterization results.
- Perform statistical data analysis on mass data sets to set up test limits.
- Complete yield analyses and correlation analysis for all levels of test insertions.
- Support test time reduction related characterization activities.
- Coordinate test-related activities and reviews with both internal and external groups.
